When It Comes To Beauty, We’ll Have Always Paris
And it ain't just about the architecture. Get inspired with our list of the best runway beauty looks from Paris Fashion Week.
| October 14, 2016It’s official – sculpting your face with blush instead of bronzer is a thing now. We saw it at New York Fashion Week and we saw it all over the runways in Paris as well. Fenty x Puma, Miu Miu, Chanel and Kenzo all had some measure of it going on in their beauty looks. Will it fit everyone? No, especially if your face – like mine – is the size of a pan. Does it look super sweet though? Yes, yes it does. While we’re not ditching our favourite bronzers and contour palettes anytime soon, we are considering dusting our blushers just a little higher on the cheekbones. Maybe a little on the lids, too. Give it up for multi-tasking beauty products!
The runway beauty looks in Paris also prove that clumpy lashes may not necessarily be a bad thing. (Though, if you want mascaras that give your lashes a natural-ish length and volume, we’ve got a list of those here.) As seen at Rochas, it gives a bit of that doll-like, wide-eyed look. Even more so if you consider pairing it with Emporio Armani’s glossy pink lids and lips. At Giambattista Valli, Loewe and Louis Vuitton though, it’s all about keeping it minimal. A pow-wow red lip, a simple brush of earth over the lids, a graphic eye – just choose one and leave the rest of your face alone.
