If you’ve been to the cinema in the recent weeks – in Singapore specifically – there’s no way that you would have missed Lily-Rose Depp’s ad campaign for this new fragrance from Chanel. (It is also through it that we learned how to pronounce “L’Eau”. Heh.) A swirl of neroli, lemon, tangerine, ylang ylang, May rose, jasmine, cedar and white musk, L’Eau is tangy, sweet and floral all at once. It is for the young at heart with more than one side to her personality.

Burberry My Burberry

Have you ever seen a more festive-looking fragrance? Inspired by the scent of a garden after the rain, My Burberry’s combination of geranium, freesia, patchouli, roses, damask and bergamot is hard to fault. With the extra dose of glitter and a little golden bow, the fragrance practically has “gift me” written all over it. That is if your fragrance junkie of a friend doesn’t have it already. The story behind Jonathan Anderson’s debut fragrance for Loewe is one of the sexiest we’ve ever heard. Made with notes of tangerine, bergamot, jasmine, linen and sandalwood, 001 Woman is designed to be worn with the woodier 001 Man. It is about the two sides coming together to bring about something new, sensual and thoroughly sexy. Couple gift, anyone?

Louis Vuitton Matière Noire

We’ve been intrigued with Louis Vuitton’s range of ultra-luxe fragrances since our trip to Les Fontaines Parfumées in Grasse. While we love the Rose Des Vents and Turbulences on a regular day, chilly weather calls for something darker and romantic. Matière Noire blends Laos agarwood with patchouli, blackcurrant, narcissus and jasmine, evoking a walk through the mysterious woods.

Dior J’adore Eau de Parfum

The classics always have a place during the holiday season. Featuring notes of notes of ylang ylang, damascus rose, Indian jasmine sambac and a special jasmine from Grasse, Dior’s ever-popular J’adore is all feminine and girl power without overwhelming the nose.
