Some of it are brand new releases, others are cult classics. Finding the best products that work for you is all about trial and error, and we’re here to quicken the process and lessen the pain. And if you have any doubts, cast your worries aside – all of the recommendations have been tried and tested by yours truly. Onward to Episode 6 of our “Best of Beauty” series! (We’d love to hear about YOUR all-time favourite beauty products too – just leave in the comments below.)

Colourpop Eye Shadows

Not only are the shadows extremely well pigmented, its slightly damp texture helps the colour stick on well to your lids. That means long-lasting wear and zero smudging under the eyes all day long. Plus, just look at the colours! See the colours currently on our radar here.

Elizabeth & James Nirvana Dry Shampoo

With the kind of climate we have here in Singapore, you can’t go more than a day without washing your hair. You just can’t with all that sweat and grease. That’s why dry shampoos like this are a godsend. It puts off the sleek for hours, doesn’t leave a residue and comes scented sans synthetic hairspray smell. You’ll still need to wash your hair ultimately, but this lets you skip the morning shower at least.

Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque

Think of this as detox for your pores. Part of Aesop’s ultra popular parsley seed range, this masque reaches deep into the skin without weighing it down in the slightest. It also helps in calming the skin down after squeezing out those blackheads. See how we use it in our 15-minute home facial routine here.

Sleek MakeUP Cleopatra’s Kiss Highlighting Palette

We think it got its name because of how it makes your skin glow like one of Cleopatra’s opulent (but slightly ridiculous) headdresses. The glow is super intense yet surprising natural-looking at the same time. Intrigued? You’ve just go to try it yourself to know what we mean.

Skin Inc To-Go Pure Serum Mist

We know it’s been around for a while, but we just uncovered this little gem and we just can’t get enough. Made with hyaluronic acid and mineral-rich Japanese hot spring (or “onsen”) water, the mist is intended to be used as an on-the-go healing and hydrating spray. We find that it works well as a light moisturiser before piling on the makeup, though.
