7 Best Runway Beauty Looks From Milan & How To Get Them

From unicorn-in-a-disco lashes at Gucci to the strongest winged eyeliner you'll ever see at Fendi.

Seasons after seasons on – officially four for Team KULALA – Milan continues to inspire us not only with their collection but with the runway beauty that dances between experimental and classic. A bold lip, a bold and groomed brow, a fresh face, a look you never thought possible until it actually happened. It is not just the clothes that inspire. When you’re obsessed with makeup, skincare, haircare and all the care as we are, the runway beauty’s worth a second look, too.

Look, we’re no Pat McGrath, Peter Philips or Tom Pecheux, but we certainly can try recreating looks in the comfort of our own vanity. As the Spring/Summer 2018 collections continue to roll out, take breathers in between by experimenting with new beauty looks courtesy of the best from Milan Fashion Week. From Moschino to Dolce & Gabbana, recreate the looks with our top picks from beauty’s new arrivals. Do Italians do it better? You tell me.

The “Queen of Hearts” in Dolce & Gabbana is anything but subtle. Bold red lips, vivacious spirit, wear your heart on your lips with NARS Powermatte in Starwoman. To be frank, we have yet to find another liquid lipstick to top the NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment. Can we have one in every shade, please?

An intense cat eye will leave a lasting impression – and that’s why we can’t stop taking notes from Fendi’s Spring/Summer ’18 beauty look. Eyeko’s fine tip is formulated to perfect that dramatic wing you have always wanted whilst taking care of your lash growth. Unicorn fringe optional.

Challenging beauty norms, Moschino is asking us to follow suit by lining the lips and leaving it as such. To cop or nay? Either way, you can decide later if you want to fill in the pout with Hourglass’s lip liner. For now, we’ll heed Moschino’s direction, because why the heck not?

Master that no-makeup makeup look with the multipurpose stick from Ilia. With a few quick highlights at the corners of your eyes, nose bridge and cupid bow, you will be looking fresh-faced like Prada’s Spring/Summer 2018.

Max Mara’s slept-in feathery pout is undeniably effortless. Create yours with Rodin’s Tough Tomato and a bold, natural brow.

Attain that shiny mane as seen at Bottega Veneta with Ouai’s Rose Hair & Body Oil. This multi-tasking wonder is infused with rose hip oil and shea to lock in that moisture. Tried and tested, this treatment leaves an amazing smell and a non-sticky finishing.

If you are feeling experimental, turn to Gucci’s unicorn lashes. We highly recommend coating a pair of falsies first, pop them on, then finish off with a final layer of glitter and gel to tie it altogether.
