The Hydrating Yet Lightweight Cream That Feels Like Meringue On The Skin

When a product does what it promises – and then some more. Do we have our first beauty win of the new year?

Welcome to KULALA Beauty Club, where YOU our dear readers help us suss out the best in the beautysphere. This week, we have Sherry (@sherrypipi1904) who is a beauty junkie and is obsessed with all things involving skincare. She brings us her review of Dior’s Hydra Life Fresh Hydration Sorbet Crème.

When the package arrived at my door, I quickly ripped it open with glee. I was greeted with the Hydra Life Fresh Hydration Sorbet Crème By Dior, and was eager to see if it worked as I’ve never used any of their skincare products before. The jar felt exquisite, and had a good weight to it. It also comes in a beautiful crystal blue and would make a wonderful addition to my vanity.

As I would any other moisturiser, I prepped my face with a toner and serum before applying it. I was met with an incredibly soothing scent that was refreshing and calming, plus it felt like meringue on my skin. The lightweight texture was non-greasy and fast absorbing, making it really easy to proceed with the rest of my products quickly.

I’ve had various experiences with other moisturisers, but none that works as well as this. My skin has the same amount of moisture as sand in a desert, and often appears dull and tired. But using it for the first time, I noticed that my face felt super soft and plump, and was so fascinated by how effective it was. It gave me a radiant and glowy look without looking too oily and shiny.

This is a cream I can foresee myself incorporating into my daily routine. Once in the morning, and once at night. The most peculiar thing is that I’ve started to notice my fine lines melting away. Pigmentations seem to be fading off fairly quickly, and it looks revitalised and youthful once again. I’ve been recommending it to all my friends and it’s safe to say that I’m obsessed with it, so much so that I would not hesitate to try out more from the Hydra Life range.
