Here’s A Beauty Cushion To Really Fall In Love Withby Team Yoyokulala
Welcome to KULALA Beauty Club, where YOU our dear readers help us suss out the best in the beautysphere. This week, we have Mishu (@papermartini) and her review of Lancome’s Cushion Compact. To Mishu, inner beauty’s great, but a good foundation makes it flawless. Keeping stock of her makeup is a challenge she enjoys daily.
Ever since my first cushion compact, I’ve bid goodbye to the traditional cakey powder foundation. There’s been no turning back since. It’s always a joy to experiment with new products and to be exposed to better innovations, and that usually means better and long-lasting effects. Lancome’s Cushion Compact was certainly a great addition to my collection. It promises a weightless application on the package and surprisingly enough, I found the sheer and lightweight coverage to be perfect for the sweltering tropical weather in Singapore.
Coverage was light but definitely buildable. Initially I thought it might be heavy due to its texture. However, it went beyond my expectations after trying it out. On my first application, it glided on smoothly like silk, giving a beautiful dewy glow without a shine and brightening my complexion effortlessly. You could easily put on more layers if you want more coverage. I certainly looked like I had more hours of sleep despite only sleeping four hours the night before. Good foundation is key, that I must reiterate.
For a more natural finish, I recommend dabbing a little loose powder to eliminate pores and uneven surface texture. Not only will it last longer, you’ll also require fewer touch ups. It’ll be great for anyone who likes low maintenance beauty routines. Lancome’s Blanc Expert Cushion is now my go-to compact that I can count on to work its magic from dawn to dusk! I just can’t say enough good things about this product. Take the plunge, you won’t regret it!
