The Rose Gold Contour Palette Made For Pros And Beginners
Six shades in increasing intensity for the cheekbones of your selfie dreams, all wrapped up in a croc-effect palette fit for your inner Park Avenue Princess.| May 28, 2018
I’m never the girl who incorporates contouring into my makeup routine, but hey, there’s zero harm in trying out something new. Plus, who doesn’t want chiseled features without the need for surgery?
When it comes to Tarte, the pigmentation of their powders are amazing, so it comes as no surprise that the Tarte Park Ave Princess Chisel Palette offered everything that one could ever wish for in a contour palette. A little goes a long way, so be really light-handed when you’re using it, but it’s really easy to blend as well, so the world’s not over even if you mess up. There’s a little bit of fall-out because the powder’s quite finely milled and soft, but it doesn’t really affect the end result.
Also, can we stop and take a moment to stop and appreciate the packaging? That rose gold crocodile-textured exterior is mad drool-worthy and holding it is akin to holding up a trophy.
My only problem with this palette lies with the colours. The darker shades were too dark for a natural finish on my fair skin. But, because these are really nice neutrals, they go great on the lids or the eyebrows, too. Other than that, this product is really straightforward and even has two highlighter shades for extra, extra definition.
