| May 22, 2019Welcome to KULALA Beauty Club, where YOU our dear readers help us suss out the best in the beautysphere. This week, we have Fiona (@flky) who is all for versatility and loves to rock a bold eye and lip combo. She brings us her review on a set of Shiseido products. Read her last review here.
I’ve never tried any Shiseido products prior to receiving my KULALA Beauty pack, which consisted of an entire set. I was excited to find out if I could add any of these to my skincare routine even though I was a bit apprehensive because I never change it.
First on the list is the Perfect Cleansing Oil that I particularly enjoyed for its cleansing power. It removes my makeup and even mascara effortlessly. It also smells really pleasant.
The award-winning Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate is a skin softener that absorbed into my skin almost instantly. It lived up to its claims of softening the skin, and with regular usage, I expect to see an improvement in my skin’s texture.
My favourite of the lot is the Sports BB WetForce SPF 50+. I brought it along with me to a beach getaway just to test it out and it didn’t disappoint. Through the sun, sand and water over the five days I was away for, the BB cream provided ample protection against the sun and helped my skin look fresh and flawless for the countless photos I posed for.
I also received two sun protection products – Clear Stick UV Protector WetForce SPF 50+, and Perfect UV Protector. The stick was fuss-free and glided easily across my face, neck and body. The lotion was a great lightweight sunscreen that I found worked perfectly even in hot and humid weather.
I can see myself repurchasing after these are empty. If you’re looking for lightweight skincare and sunscreen products for Singapore’s humidity, I recommend that you give these a shot!
