The “Walk of Shame” Has Never Looked This Good

Because this could very well be you this party weekend, you might as well take some notes from Alexander Wang and squad. "Get your shit together, Anna!"
|

Everyone knows that Alexander Wang loves to party, so if anyone is going to depict what happens at a party in a campaign, it’s him. Except, instead of the actual partying, Wang has chosen to focus on what happens after. Yeah, we’re talking about the infamous – and sometimes, inevitable – “Walk of Shame”.

Binx Walton, Anna Ewers and Lexi Boling play the roles of girls making their way home post-partying in Wang’s Spring 2017 campaign, photographed by Inez and Vinoodh. But instead of appearing absolutely trashed, miserable and guilty, the trio actually look pretty damn cool. It looks more street style than “Walk of Shame”. With last night’s party dress resting casually on their arms, the girls take to the streets in cropped sweaters and shirts, hoodies, pajama shorts and sandals. Everything you can easily fold and tuck into a bag, because let’s face – when you’re hungover, squeezing into a tight little dress is the last thing on your mind. Not a bad idea, actually.

Wang’s campaign comes at the perfect time, what with all the partying you’re going to do this Christmas weekend and the one coming up. Are you going to be the girl who totters home miserably in her five-inch party heels and busted sequinned dress, or are you going to be the girl doing the most comfy “Walk of Shame” in the history of mankind? If it’s the latter, we’ve got all the ammo you need above. Go nuts, kiddos.
