All My Fashion Week Looks – The #MFW Edition
I brought along a couple of my alter-egos to Milan this season! Come get acquainted and tell me which personality is your favourite.| February 26, 2020
After catching a little break after New York fashion week, off we were onto the second-half of the fashion month stretch. The few days I had back at home gave me the extra time I needed to pack all six of my luggages. It was basically a part of my last-minute workout plan. The cardio!
But the nightmares of packing aside, it’s always a joy returning to Milan. The warmth of my Next Management family that fills my heart; the hearty plates of pasta that never fail to perk me up between shows; and this season, we even got extra lucky with the weather. The Sun was shining down on the Italian city which explains the Chopova Lowena mini skirt, Salvatore Ferragamo leather shorts and Versace blazer worn as a mini dress. With the weather cooperating, I had plenty of room to play around in the outfit department.
Given that I was in the mood for fun this time round in Milan, it all worked out nicely. Tiger prints, a combination of mismatched checks, paisley from head-to-toe – nothing was out of bounds really! I guess you could say that I brought my alter-egos out to play in Milan. I meant business in a tailored Max Mara suit, left the boardroom for a walk on the wild side in a fedora and along the way channeled the long lost grunge teen hidden within in a checkered mini skirt, hoodie and combat boots combination.
I hope you had as much fun seeing my outfits as I did putting them together. And of course, a huge thank you to all the street style photographers for immortalising my Milan Fall/Winter 2020 street style looks. If you haven’t already seen, we also have put together a Milan Fashion Week vlog where we take you behind-the-scenes with us from fittings to shows to the meals in-between. We hold nothing back. While you catch up on the #MFW madness, off to Paris we go!
