Backstage Access: BVLGARI Fall/Winter 2016

We’ll have the top handle minis in every colour, thank you.

For the storied luxury houses of the world, keeping up with times without abandoning the codes that first catapulted their names to fame back in the day is something of a challenge. Bulgari, however, seems to have it all figured out. So on the pulse is the brand that among the latest incarnations of the Serpenti Forever bag is a little nude-pink number, better known to the properly informed hipster as rose quartz i.e. Pantone’s reigning colour of the year. While there are the roomier, more luxe editions for Bulgari’s matured clientele – fur, gold piping and a kaleidoscopic gemstone print that sells out constantly, we’re told – these come alongside mini versions in reflective metallic and bold solids that make matching so easy. Paired with that steadfast, edgy-as-hell Serpenti clasp – those beady eyes! – Bulgari’s got itself a trove of winners this season. We got a closer look at the Fall/Winter 2016 collection earlier at Milan Fashion Week. Click through the gallery to see some of our favourites!
