Because Party Season Is Coming – And You Need A Show-Stopping Dress
Not a single bodycon dress in sight! Let these 19 kickass dresses take you from party to party – and then some more – in the weeks to come.
| November 24, 2016Now that we’ve got your party season shoe covered, it is time to move on to what you’re going to wear with those dang sparkly kicks. While sweater dresses and long overcoats seem like the more viable options in the chilly weather to come, nothing puts us in a party mood better than throwing on a dress that is basically shiny enough to blind. Who cares about being practical when you get to be the stand-out person in the room!
The first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of party wear seems to – quite unfortunately – be the sequinned bodycon mini dress. Yeah, you know the one. That poor thing has such a bad rep. This season, however, we’re moving beyond party wear cliches. You still get the sequins, but we’ve thrown in satin, lamé, velvet, beads, ruffles and an explosion of tulle into the mix. If you’re a minimalist, you may want to look away because there’s nothing minimal about these dresses.
Once you’re done picking your next party dress from the gallery above, head on over here to see how you can put your sequins to work in the day, post-party season. Don’t forget to click here for our edit of the season’s best party shoes that you can shop right away.
