Capturing Behind-The-Scenes Moments at Exhibit’s Summer ’19 Campaign
Some of the pictures turned out better than expected, but we attribute all that to the lighting and set-up.| May 30, 2019
Typically when I’m on set at Exhibit’s campaigns, I wield a small camera, weaving in and out of people to steal a few scenes on video. But this time for Summer 19’, my weapon of choice was a regular DSLR, documenting the moments between each magical shot.
To be able to bring the glow of the sun’s golden hour into a plain, white photography studio is a hundred times more beneficial than chasing the actual sun. It’s almost like playing god, controlling how bright your artificial sunlight should be, which area should be hidden in the shadows, or even to the point of constructing your own window – except, the team couldn’t have done it without the help from the photographer, Shawn Paul, his team, and a bunch of technical equipment too complicated for me or anyone else to comprehend.
Last week, we took a walk through how Exhibit’s collections are brought to life. This time, scroll through the gallery to see some of the behind-the-scenes moments from the campaign shoot, then see the actual shots here.
