Charles & Keith’s “Alice In Wonderland” Collection Has Landed

Let's go down the rabbit hole, shall we? In collaboration with Charles & Keith.

When Lewis Carroll published Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland in 1865, he gave a name to that world of imagination and curiosities – Wonderland. When Disney reimagined the story in 1951, we got a picture of what Wonderland could look like: talking flowers and playing cards, rabbits with pocket watches and disappearing cats.

The thing about Wonderland is that it can mean different things to different people. It could be somewhere completely out of this world, or somewhere simple, like an antique store filled with finds from a forgotten time. I imagine somewhere that is full of inspiration, with an endless list of things to discover. Maybe with a touch of something extraordinary or unexpected.

In Charles & Keith‘s debut collaboration with Disney, the Singaporean-based shoemaker pays homage to nostalgia and the history of animation, infusing elements from Alice’s Wonderland with versatile, everyday pieces. Think drawstring bags inspired by the playing card guards, slingback pumps with heart-shaped cut-outs and heels and unique pumps which reveal Alice’s iconic silhouette when you look at them from the side.

Disney’s Alice In Wonderland Collection by Charles & Keith is available online and in stores from today onwards. Above, I play around with a top-handle box bag featuring iconic Alice In Wonderland motifs and those Alice silhouette flats. Can you spot Alice?
