Dance The Night Away In These Must-Have Party-Approved Heels

With these heels, you can push your worries aside and forget the band-aids stashed in your purse. Dance away!
|

The end of November is approaching, and with each passing day, we can’t help but squirm a little in our seats thinking about which shoes we’re going to rock for December a.k.a PARTY MONTH. Although strappy sandals with killer heels are common party-dress companions, they aren’t the most comfortable or practical footwear for dancing and prancing around the Christmas tree.

So, instead of sore feet and painful blisters, why not get something with better support and grip? Something like a pair of sling-backs, or mules, and maybe even a pair of boots that might also double up as a shield for your toes from booze spilling over from a passing stranger’s cup. (Remember Ada Kokosar’s PVC-covered party-proof shoes?) Picking anything other than two or three straps holding your feet to the shoe is a wiser choice.

With the pairs we’ve selected, don’t worry too much about bringing enough band-aids or stuffing an extra pair of footwear into your teeny-tiny purse. Heel height, comfort and wearability – we’ve taken it all into consideration. We can’t guarantee that they would pain-free, but hey, what’s beauty without a little pain? Plus, they are all so party worthy, we can’t not encourage a night of dancing in these.
