Every Single Look From My Runway Show At #SGFW

We’re a little late with this – a full week late, to be exact – but better late than never! Last Friday, my team and I presented Exhibit’s Fall/Winter 2016 collection at Singapore Fashion Week, our third runway collection to date. It also marked our third time collaborating with Singapore-based shoe and accessory label Charles & Keith. Themed “Dark Romance”, the collection is an exploration of the Exhibit girl’s romantic and more feminine side. Crisp cottons, crushed velvets and luxe satins are the season’s key fabrications, while exposed zips and buckles in metal and tortoiseshell provide the details. As with the past seasons, all the shoes and accessories are by Charles & Keith.
The silhouettes still stick to Exhibit’s signature clean and minimal aesthetic, but the colour palette is something new for us. There’s deep purple, red, green, copper, mustard, and even a little bit of pink for everyone’s inner girly girl. Of course, being a diehard fan of the pantsuit, some level of androgyny is expected. We did that this season with velvet pantsuits, boilersuits and straight-cut trousers worn under shirtdresses.
The Fall/Winter 2016 is a completely new direction for the brand and we’re so excited that it is finally fully revealed. What do you think? Browse the gallery above – or watch the show here – to see every look that walked the runway and tell me which one’s your favourite in the comments below. If you’re in the mood for some retail therapy, the first drop from the collection is already available on exhibitstore.co. Yeap, we’re officially on the #seenowbuynow bandwagon.
