Exhibit’s Latest Collection Is Here, Just In Time For Summer

Leather dresses, mother of pearl button and poofy blouses may not sound like your typical summer wardrobe, but Exhibit's here to prove to you that it absolutely can be.

It’s here! Exhibit’s summer collection has landed at last, and we’re thrilled. There are two routes you can take when planning your summer wardrobe – one, fill it with bikinis and various floral dresses, or two, channel summer without the typical “summer” look.

You see, some of the looks in this collection lean more towards incorporating the vibrancy of the sun in your everyday wear. There are work appropriate blouses in light fabrics that are detailed with a hint of summer, a.k.a. subtle irregularly-shaped mother of pearl buttons. Then come leather shirts, skirts and culotte separates that are more breathable than you think they are.

Dresses are made long and billowy, some with sleeves, some without sleeves, and some with just one shoulder – all of which are perfect for hot summer nights. There is a focus on textured fabrics this time, coupled with lace, soft gathers and scalloped hemlines.

To make it even more summery, this season’s colour palette screams golden hour, with shades of olive, butter, ivory, and a pop of royal blue to keep things interesting.

The first drop has just been released on Exhibit’s website, which means there’s more in the coming weeks. Keep an eye on their Instagram for more updates about the next drop, because we are, too.
