All My Fashion Week Looks – The #PFW Edition
This time, it’s 8 days + 12 looks = ?| May 1, 2016
You’ve seen my Milan looks, now it’s on to Pareeee! As I’ve said before, dressing comfortably and practically were my priorities this season. It’s just easier to get from place to place without bulky layers and super high stilettos to hold you down. (In my defence, those pastel Miu Mius are kitten heels and the white Gianvito Rossis are way, way more comfortable than they look.)
The outfit that I was most excited about was the one with the Gucci military jacket. I’m such a sucker for denim. Dress me top to toe in denim and I am happy. Who cares if it’s a past season piece? A great jacket is a great jacket, and this one just so happens to belong to Frida Giannini’s last collection for Gucci. I love where the brand is at now, but a “last collection” piece is always exciting, gives it that extra something-something.
I also love the idea of a comfortable statement piece. When you think of statement pieces, it’s the over-the-top proportions prints and materials that come to mind. I’d like to think that pieces like the printed Loewe pants and the monogrammed Louis Vuitton vest can do the same while offering a lot more comfort. They’re subtle, but also kind of not subtle. It’s fun.
So, tell me – which look did you like best?
