Fendi Made A Bag For The Girl Who Doesn’t Like Bags
Introducing the practical-to-the-core Triplette, featuring Fendi's brand new logo as the crowning centrepiece. In collaboration with Fendi.| September 5, 2017
Something classic, something new. Last month, we turned the spotlight on Fendi’s iconic Peekaboo bag, pairing the versatile piece in black with a monogrammed Strap You. With the season’s new arrivals hitting stores left, right and centre, it is the perfect time to introduce the “something new”. Ladies and gents, meet the brand new Triplette.
The way we see it, the Triplette is exactly the kind of bag for the woman who doesn’t like carrying bags. It is just the right size to hold in your hands, but still large enough to carry the essentials, whether it is your compact, lip balm, phone, cards or cash.
Three pouches also means that everything can be kept separate, so you know exactly where everything is. You can even skip the wallet with this one. Everything comes together with a gold ring clasp, making the bag (or bags, if we’re being specific) so easy to just take and go. If you really just need one pouch, just take one pouch! If you want to hook it to another bag for extra storage, just hook it!
The gold ring is the true centrepiece of the Triplette. More than just a means to hold the bag, it is among the first line of accessories to feature the new circle “F is Fendi” logo. Uh huh, Fendi has a brand new logo. Remember what we said about Fendi being very young at heart? This is what we meant.
And because we know some of you are probably wondering – yes, the Triplette is customisable, but only at the “F is Fendi” pop-up in London’s Harrods. For now at least. Fingers crossed. Keeping with the “something classic, something new” theme, we took the Triplette out to the streets of Hong Kong, juxtaposing Fendi’s new arm candy against the old school charm of mismatched furniture in back alleys, 90s-style walls and vintage stores.
