How to Style This Thing: Shop My Fashion Week Looks
Psst, are you ready for a shopping cart full of statement pieces and basics? Don't worry, we promise we won't tell a soul.| October 22, 2019
It’s been a while but we’re bringing back How To Style This Thing, the fashion week edition. I’m someone who puts substantial thought into what I wear even when I’m going someplace as mundane as the grocery store, so you can imagine that deciding on outfits for fashion week can get a tad overwhelming. Imagine shoes, bags and clothing being shrewn wildly on my bed as I rack my brains on whether they belong in the closet or in my luggage.
Every fashion month, I make sure I take my time to plan and envision how each individual piece goes together to form a cohesive outfit. You know I love creating outfits centered on statement pieces. Sometimes I even throw a “second” statement piece into the mix. This season, my Prada Monolith Chunky Boots really stole the show with its pouches but I still couldn’t resist adding a red metallic water bottle along my belt to give the outfit the pop of colour.
Many of my outfits oozed simplicity and contained basic pieces, such as my Bottega Veneta Rubber Trench Coat. From my Ganni Leather Mini Dress to my Valentino Shoulder Bag, it’s also clear to see that green has found its way into my looks several times this fashion month. Here’s an edit of the looks that I wore to London, Milan and Paris, and you can shop them in stores right now. Some pieces are running low on stock so hurry if anything caught your eye!
