Because It’s (Zoom) Party Season – And You Need Dresses
Staying in your pyjamas might be a tempting idea but these party on top dresses but comfy at the bottom dresses might just change your mind.| December 10, 2020
We can barely recognise the festive season this year. Truth be told, it’s not the usual jolly, holly Christmas. And all things considered, getting into the mood for cheer this year is taking more effort than it typically does – even for the yuletide obsessed.
As tempting as it might be to wallow in the utter misery 2020 has put the world in, there’s no better time than now to snap out of the funk. Put on your best dress, paint your face and hop on those Zoom calls with your nearest and dearest. Hey, you could even throw a Zoom party! It’s definitely not the same but it doesn’t have to be all that depressing.
To get yourself into the holiday spirit, you can start with this lineup of dresses that’ll have you party-ready even if it were through a computer screen or FaceTime. Off-the-shoulders, puffy sleeves, embellished collars – it’s all about dressing from the waist up. It’s the only stuff that shows in the web camera crop anyway. Plus, these dresses offer plenty of room for movement. You never know when one of those Zoom sessions might turn into a dance party for one.
If you had for a second thought you were going to spend the holidays in your pyjamas, we’d strongly urge you to reconsider. And if we haven’t managed to convince, maybe these dresses would do the work.
