We’re Snuggling Up To Vivienne, Louis Vuitton’s Adorable New Mascot

It has a flower for a face! Here's what you need to know about the upcoming Louis Vuitton pop-up in Singapore featuring exclusive Vivienne merch.

Big things are happening at Louis Vuitton. A new soon-to-be menswear creative director in Off-White’s Virgil Abloh and, as it turns out, a new mascot. Before bidding an adieu to Kim Jones, the former artistic director of menswear sees his penultimate collection – the Pre-Fall 2018 – play host to Louis Vuitton’s brand new mascot: Vivienne.

It’s got a flower for a head. It’s got luggage tags for arms. It’s got these little legs. It’s got a patch over its eye in the shape of Louis Vuitton’s iconic flower motif. Basically, it’s adorable – but it’s got spice, too. If you’ve seen the promotional video, Vivienne does this thing where it covers Louis Vuitton’s monogram in acid yellow and proceeds to flip the logo upside down. Cheeky, cheeky.

Vivienne technically made its debut last holiday season, but with pre-fall, it’s stepping into the limelight for real – backed with its own merch which will be exclusive to a Pre-Fall 2018 pop-up at ION Orchard. We got first dibs on the snuggly scarf – which we’re using as a blanket in this mad rain we’re having, obvs – but expect everything from bags to caps to windbreakers to key charms to tchotchkes.
