All My Fashion Week Looks – The #MFW Edition
It begins! On the menu following a season off? My comfiest pair of go-to white sneakers, animal prints and a killer pair of statement pants.| October 8, 2018
Oh sweet Milan. If there’s one city that’s worthy of the crown for “best city”, you have without a doubt secured my vote. Amidst the fluctuating temperatures and the chaos of fashion week, I must say that it was energising to see and be among such a lively and colourful season of street style. It seems that despite the transitional season, nobody’s putting a stop on colour, including me.
The street style at Milan Fashion Week has been nothing bof amazing. A melting pot of colours, styles, and trends only you can imagine, it is safe to say that I may have gone a little crazy with the colours and the prints. I had my own fun with animal prints. As always, I built my outfits around key statement pieces like a cow printed coat, a yellow tiger printed top, and a full-length leopard coat. You wouldn’t think that a full yellow monochromatic outfit would work with an animal printed top, but it does. Somehow in Milan, your craziest, boldest, and most daring side comes out through your style.
I’ve also come to realise that I had lived in pants for almost the whole of Milan Fashion Week. A leopard truly never changes its spots, I guess! Being able to move about freely and not having to worry about a wardrobe malfunction happening during the craziest and busiest week in Milan is great.
Scroll through the pictures above for some of the looks that I wore to Milan Fashion Week. Also, a big shout out and thank you to all the fashion street style photographers for the lovely pictures. You truly are the unsung heroes behind some of my greatest Instagram street style pictures. If you have a favourite outfit, let me know in the comments section down below. Till next time, ciao Milano!
