Pedder On Scotts Has Been Transformed Into Wonderland

I also answer a couple of questions about my favourite Spring/Summer 2017 accessories and the song I can't out of my head. In collaboration with Pedder On Scotts.

In many ways, being in a store is like being in Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. There are new things to discover, some more curious than others, and there’s a bit of madness as well. How many times have you gone a little nuts upon seeing new arrivals on the shelves?

To celebrate the launch of the Spring/Summer 2017 collections, Pedder on Scotts has transformed its space into a reinterpreted Wonderland: giant teacups and mushrooms, rabbits, checkerboard floors, a tower made from silver playing cards. The only thing missing is the Jabberwocky, but that’ll probably scare the kids away.

You get new season Fenty By Puma, Joshua Sanders, Eugenia Kim, Nº21, Aquazzura, Sophia Webster and Gianvito Rossi to start things off, but the cool thing about Pedder On Scotts is that they have all the space they need to go beyond shopping for your spring wardrobe. This season features Hediard, Hello Chocolate and Singapore-based Bynd Artisan, just in case you need a little breather from the shoes and bags.

To kick things off, I collaborated with Pedder On Scotts on a mini interview which you can also head over to Pedder On Scotts’ blog here to read more about. If you’re in town this weekend, hop over to “Adventures in Pedderland” and grab some selfies, try on some shoes and binge on some chocolate while you’re at it. The installations will run from today up until Sunday, March 19.

The part of my job that I love the most is…that I get to do what I love every day. Whether it is pictures or clothing, I get to create things according to how I want them to be. My job also gives me the opportunity to explore different places both locally and beyond and I get to work on my photography skills too, which is something I really enjoy.

The accessory from Spring/Summer 2017 that I love the most is…I always find Edgardo Osorio’s shoes for Aquazzura to be so sexy. I’ve also been wearing Nicholas Kirkwood’s loafers quite a bit in both the slip-on and pearl heeled versions. They’re so easy to wear and style.

The item in my wardrobe that I love wearing the most is…a crisp white shirt. A white shirt is just the ultimate wardrobe stable that is polished, yet can easily be dressed up and down. If you’re still looking for your go-to white shirt, make sure it is one that is very well-tailored.

The holiday destination I love visiting the most is…Japan, especially Tokyo. I go to Tokyo almost every year and I find that it is a new and refreshing experience every time. It also helps that I love Japanese food. Tokyo is also an excellent place to look for vintage, especially vintage Chanel.

The song I love right now is…a song from the sixties called “I’ve Told Every Little Star” by Linda Scott. I first heard it at Loewe’s runway show in Paris and I haven’t been able to get it out of my head since.
