Street Style Report: The Best Looks From Copenhagen Fashion Week
Keeping cool and looking cool in the sweltering heat is easier said than done, but these girls in the city of Denmark have it all under control.
| August 16, 2018Most of the globe is experiencing the hottest period of the year right now. With temperatures soaring high, dressing up with all that humidity and heat can be the biggest inspiration killer – ever.
Fortunately, the ever-stylish city of Copenhagen just had their Spring/Summer 2019 Fashion Week. Which means plenty of inspiration from our favourite runway – the streets. Ah, one can always count on the Scandis – and honorary Scandis! – when in the midst of a style dry spell. There’s just something about that Scandinavian air.
With temperatures rising way above 30-degrees celsius, looking fly in an outfit without sweating buckets is surely a primary concern. Among the show goers at Copenhagen, summer-essentials like shorts, breezy wrap dresses, off-shoulder tops and the surprisingly chic handheld fan were all spotted. Keeping cool and looking cool is everything.
Of course, sunglasses are a must-have for being practical and stylish. And, just like how everyone dressed up in their best summer colours, sunnies came in various shapes, sizes and colours too. Pastel green is something to consider, along with seashell-accessories, vintage-inspired gold necklaces that have been all over Instagram and the best sandals that leave room for aeration. Above, slide through to see all the best looks.
