See Every Single Look From My Nylon Singapore Cover Story
I've got my eye on you. Presenting my second cover to date, this time in Chanel with Nylon Singapore. Can't think of a better way to start 2017.
| January 20, 2017How’s the new year treating you so far? For me, I can’t imagine a better way to start it. Not only am I currently taking a mini break in Tokyo – one of my favourite cities in the world, hands down – January also marks the release of my second magazine cover to date. This time, it is for Nylon Singapore.
I know I say this often on shoots, but I did have quite a bit of fun with this one – and it is not just because of that adorable vintage scooter, though that had a small part to play in it. Not only is this my first cover done in collaboration with Chanel, I love how there was an unexpected mixing of high-street labels like Off-White into the looks. Throwing street and polished luxury pieces together is something that I do often with my own wardrobe. Plus, if you examine the looks closely, you may be able to spot pieces from my label Exhibit and my personal hat collection.
A big thank you to the Nylon Singapore team for having me as your first cover girl for the year, Chanel for the unceasing support and my A team Shaun Lee and Gary Low for helping me bring on my A game. I am honoured and blessed. Don’t forget to grab your own copy of Nylon Singapore’s January issue, out on newsstands now.
