When you live halfway across the globe, it’s not everyday that you find yourself in Los Angeles. So, once you’re there after flying for a full day, you’d want to make the most out of it. The best and fastest way to do it? Ask a Californian native! Thankfully, being in town for the recent Dior Cruise 2018 show, we had plenty of Californians on our hands. The usually touristy spots are obvious, but what of the off-the-beaten-path food haunts?

Because we want you to get the most out of your Californian dining experience – that is, plenty of Instagrams on top of your food – we decided to ask our pal Chriselle Lim a.k.a. supermom a.k.a super Instagrammer for her top five must-go-tos in Los Angeles. Whether it is coffee, ice cream or just an Instagrammable watering hole with damn good food (Chriselle votes Bestia Downtown and Bottega Louie), we’ve got you covered. We even asked her about her favourite Korean BBQ, because while you can take us out of Asia, you can’t take the Asian out of us.
