The Lowdown on Who Was What for Halloween This Year
Even if only for the 'gram and the mems, Tinseltowners brought their Halloween a-game.| November 2, 2020
In Tinseltown, Halloween is the equivalent of a big red carpet event. Multiple costume changes. Hours of professional hair and makeup. The full works. And even if the year has panned out to be nothing short of a horror flick starring Miss Rona, the show must go on.
Even if it meant dressing up for just the ‘gram and the mems, our favourite A-listers pulled out all the stops for spooky season. We watched it all pan out over the past weekend. The Queen of Halloween, Heidi Klum, one-upped herself with a spooky at-home short. While Klum didn’t go crazy with the prosthetics this year, her transformation for the short took a seven-hour paint job no less. The Kardashain-Jenner clan, as one would expect, went above and beyond for their Halloween getup. Kylie Jenner went from Red Ranger to revisiting a childhood costume to a cobra all in a weekend’s work. Kim Kardashian killed it as Carole Baskin – someone had to do it. Cardi B brought on the drama for days as Medusa. Bella Hadid infected us all as Poison Ivy – we couldn’t possibly think of anyone else who pulls off a skin-tight bodysuit as Hadid does.
Like every other Halloween has in the past, this year’s costumes too had us floored. Who needs a Halloween party when you have the ‘gram to show off your costume to the world? If we absolutely had to pick a favourite, The Weeknd as The Nutty Professor would walk away with the best costume of the night. Who would you hand the best-dressed award to?
