We look back fondly on a jolly afternoon spent merry-making with you, our readers!
| December 30, 2019The holiday season has come and almost gone. With nights of back-to-back parties followed by hungover mornings, seemingly never-ending shopping sprees for gifts and general merry-making, the month of December whizzes past us in a whirl wind. Festivities are great fun and it is easy to get carried away but the true spirit of the holidays is really about spending time with the ones that matter and being thankful for the people around you. What would Christmas be if not for friends and family?
We at team Yoyokulala are sticklers for holidays done the traditional way – by bringing people together. If you haven’t already heard, we threw our first-ever Kulala Christmas Soirée leading up to Christmas at The Floral Atelier. Amidst an awe-inspiring glass flower case, the tables were laid with a scrumptious spread of croissants, cookies and tarts that call to mind Christmas tea served at your favourite Aunt’s abode and the air infiltrated by the warm scents of perfume and essential oils making courtesy of Hush Candles and Scent by Six.
As the attendees for the afternoon streamed in, they tucked into the delightful food just as they indulged in concocting their personal blends of perfume and essential oils and clicked their cameras away in the many extremely Instagram-worthy backdrops around the sprawling Floral Atelier space. A giveaway towards the end of the night was the cherry on the top of the cake with four lucky winners who walked home with an array of gifts spanning from a one-night stay at The Outpost hotel in Sentosa to a thousand US dollars worth Net-a-Porter gift card. Christmas sure came early!
