Follow Me To New York City: My #NYFW Travel Diary
The Empire State, Central Park, Shake Shack and streams of yellow cabs – NYC, you're really something.
| September 16, 2016What a trip it has been! I’ve heard so, so much about New York City before flying down earlier this week for New York Fashion Week, and can I just say – no words can describe being in the city. Much more than a concrete jungle – where dreams are made of! – New York City is a city with character, from its towering buildings and bricked houses to the fast food, yellow cabs and local culture. We may have been there for work – don’t forget to check out our exclusive stories with Michael Kors here and here and our interview with top model Lily Aldridge here – but it is one of those trips that really didn’t feel like it, cheesy as it sounds. The weather was beautiful, the sights were beautiful and Central Park, which we visited just hours before leaving for the airport, was beautiful. We even had a fast food lunch on the giant rocks, how New York are we? Needless to say, we were a little sad as we headed to JFK, but we’ll be back for sure. You’ll see.
