Naturally, Riley’s skincare routine features a heavy use of her own products. It’s also a great lesson in layering serums, creams and oils. If you’ve found yourself wondering where each one find its place in a beauty routine and what goes on first, you’ve come to the right place.
What does your morning skincare routine look like?
I wash my face twice a day and I use Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment three times a week. For my level of dead skin buildup, that’s perfect for me. I follow the morning wash with C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum and finish with Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream.
What about your nighttime beauty routine?
At night I wash my face again immediately and follow with the Luna Sleeping Night Oil which I massage in and let skin in for a moment. I follow Luna with either Good Genes or C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum. I finish with either Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream or C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream if I feel like I need a little more moisture. I don’t have a lot of congestion in my skin, but once a week I’ll do some U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Acne Treatment Oil to keep my pores cleared out.
Can you tell us about the beauty product you can’t live without?
It is hard to pick just one! Good Genes because it makes me feel 10 years younger, every day. A+ High-Dose Retinoid Serum because I think it makes my skin look luminous and I know the benefits of retinoids long-term for the skin. Lastly, C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Serum because you need vitamin C to build collagen and because it’s makes me glow like nothing else.
Do you have a beauty hack that you swear by?
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate (inside and out).
What would you say is your beauty philosophy?
I always say there are three ingredients you need in your skincare routine: an acid, a vitamin C, and a retinol. These three ingredients are essential for healthy, glowing skin and clients have so many different options to incorporate them into their skincare routine. I always recommend Good Genes, CEO Serum, and either our Luna Sleeping Night Oil or the A+ High-Dose Retinoid Serum for those that want something a little stronger.
